This weekend I went to Las Vegas, my home away from home. I was able to spend some time with a good friend of mine, a former 420nurse, idk if she wants to be named because of her current job, so I will call her Beauty. She is currently working at 5 Star Helicopter Tours, with the friends and family discount I was able to experience one of their top notch options! I was able to tour the Grand Canyon!!! It was about a 45 min ride to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas, we were traveling at about 120MPH. It was my first time in a helicopter. What an experience!!! I did get sick but I was kind enough to wait until we landed and go to the restroom to vomit. :/ lol... It is kind of like a motion sickness, I have a weak stomach and I tend to get car sick if I try to read in a moving car, which is kind of the same experience. However it was definitely worth it!!! The pilot was humorous, kind, and informative! I was able to capture some really great pictures and obtain an incredible memory! We flew 15 miles INTO the Grand Canyon, (not above it but actually in the Canyon itself.) On the way back we were able to catch the sunset and arrive back into Las Vegas as the lights are turning on and the skies are turning off! Moments when you project genuine laughs and real smiles are moments I hold dearly. I am so blessed and grateful for such an experience. Now that I know what it feels like to ride a Helicopter maybe I'll be more prepared and not get sick for the next experience. I wonder where it will be :)
