I was heading down Topanga Canyon Blvd when I decided to walk into 420 Nurses for the first time when I was exploring my neighborhood. I think I was riding my electric scooter down Topanga just hitting the local spots on my way to the mall. I was looking for work so I was happy to see a help wanted sign. I ended up buying an awesome C-B-D lolipop as well as starting an application to work at the boutique. I never would have guessed it would lead to something more than a place to get some C-B-D locally instead of online. The little ride I was taking ended with some new stuff for boxing, MMA, and gym, a trip to the Topanga Mall with a lit of places to apply to, and the begining to an awesome story! At least it feels awesome to me, I never thought life would be this fun this soon after a stint in college. My first time volunteering was so much fun that it felt almost natural for me to be at the boutique. Learned a ton about glassware and left with a documentary name in mind, A Leaf of Faith. As soon as I got home I made some food and decided to watch the documentary. It taught me everything I know about kratom and gave me a healthy alternative for pain relief for myself. It also reminded me of my grandfather who takes several painkillers for his joints, so I'll be sure thatthe first time I purchase kratom it'll be for all of us at home to stop feeding the Pill Monster called Big Pharma. The following days of volunteer work as a 420 Intern I learned a ton of valuable skills such as getting behind the register, organizing the clothing, redesigning the layout of the store alongside Chacha and Summer, and some basic photoshop. I always enjoy being at the boutique and helping out our customers as well as making calls for our magazine. I knew I wanted to be in this for the long haul, so recently I took my next big step. I saved up my paychecks from my day job and bought the photographer's kit! My frst experience was helping record and take pics for our first C-B-D Dinner and it was an experience I'll always remember as my first step. The first of many as a new member of the 420 Nurse Team, can't wait to see who I'll get to meet and where this road will take me.
