Some of you may or may not know, I own a travel agency!
I am on facebook and instagram as Happy Gal Travels.
Let me tell you a bit about what I do.
I started my business in December of 2013, as just a part time gig to help get me some extra cash and maybe some cool travel perks.
Fastforward to today, I have successfully booked over $100,000 in travel since April of 2014. Now for some people thats nothing. For a large scale company like Booking.com etc.its absolutely nothing more than pennies. To me however, it means endless hours of schooling, communication with companies, vendors etc.
Why would you want to be a travel agent in the age where internet takes over?
Its funny that I actually get asked that question more often than not.
My answer>
When you go to Expedia.com,booking.com,orbitz,hotels.com etc you get an incredible deal most of the time, and its really quick and easy to click a few
buttons and now you are on your way! Well sure... but the hours it will take you to scroll through your hotel options, flights, etc.... the time it takes going from one site to another for confirmations,emails, signup offers spam pop ups...
I TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING. You tell me where,when,how many people, how long you wanna stay and your budget and I create a customized plan just for your needs.
Need a Rental car, tickets to an event and flight only? I can do all of that!
Need NFL OR SPORTS TICKETS .........................I GOT THAT TOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
