Is there such a thing as thinking too much? 'Cause I know I do it often and it tends to bring out the worst in us oddly. We start to think the smallest of situations is going to turn into the biggest, messiest one of your whole life. And honestly, soometimes it does. But other times, there's no way in hell it could ever turn out as bad as we start to imagine it getting. But we panic, a sort of fight or flight reflex. And we start thinking the worst of things and then all the sudden we're mapping our escape routes and our plans for the after math. When in reality, there will be a simple amount of complications and then the situation will be over.
But if you're anything like me, you absolutely HATE conflict or confrontation; which is totally normal. But that raises your anxiety levels and brings your fear to the peaks of your rollercoaster, three times. Or more. So ladies, let's try and remain calm during our times of struggle. Even when those around us are antagonizing us.
Try breathing excersizes when you're panicking, or even doodling or writing a small poem. Play hangman or even just play with the ring on your finger. A distraction is a distraction.
