Why I chose to be apart of 420Nurses

Hi, let me introduce my self: my name is Tara Connaigh. I grew up experiencing a lot of pain and a lot of really poor medical treatment from drs. My health so far has ran into a failing kidney from prenatal kidney failure, asthma, restless leg syndrome, cysts, endometreiosis, anxiety, and migraines. All of which get in the way of higher education and normal jobs.

When traditional medicine failed me, I turned to the medical marajuana scene. So far I have been able to sleep, eat, drink water, and not faint or passout from pain. However, I work retail. Working retail means if I have a migraine attack, I cannot medicate. So I'm trying to find 420 friendly work. When my friend Indie joined, I wanted to join her.

I chose 420Nurses because I want to promote the use of weed for medical treatments and use in general. I also used to model and I miss it. After three surgeries, I had to leave the modeling scene and the gym to recoup. The down side is that I gained weight and felt really bad about how my body went from lean to...fat.

I did lose some of the weight gain, yet that did not fix how I saw myself. This network has amazing women who lift each other up. I am slowly getting back to my old happy and active self. I would love to leave the retail world completely behind and focus on pain prevention and science, and fun times with amazing strong people. This community is brilliant and I am finally feeling I am on the right path for my body and my soul.

I am looking forward to being a 420 Nurse and being apart of the community.
