Hi! So, First off I'm 'Miss Dabalina" aka Ivy
I first started getting into the whole MMJ movement being wayyy younger, but with parental acceptance. I've suffered from personal issues, not going into it, that made me against certain medical practices. Point is, I hate pills. But Mary Jane has always helped me, no matter what I'm trying to target to treat.
My first foot inside of a collective was actually my first job, I sat at a delivery service all day in Costa Mesa back in 2012. It was... interesting. For sure teaches you what to look out for in the future, but who doesn't have a weird first job experience. I bounced around a little and started managing another shop in Garden Grove, did my first apprenticeship with a big garden, learned sooo many things about the industry that I will forever be grateful to my first real boss for. You were a real one, T! Shortly after that, there were a lot of raids going down in SoCal(who remember the shitstorm of 2012/13?) but sure enough everything went back into full motion, even stronger than before! Quick sidenote, Garden Grove had the most collectives per sq foot than any other city in the US at that time, at one point they had more shops than mcdonalds or starbucks.
Since then I worked at one premiere shop in DTLA, Kushmart Collective. Loved the staff! Patients were amazing! And they were pre ico/ prop D compliant, but now I focus on other things.
