We ALL have our vices in this world.
Some can be healthy, some are not always so healthy.
We ALL have something in this world, we enjoy using to make yourself feel better in some type of way.
Cannabis is my vice when it is not my medication but i do realize more and more every year that it very much is my medication.
I had spinal issues since 2009, from cheerleading, figure skating, poms and straight up just doing physical activity in the wrong way such as lifting with my back and not my legs.
I now have spinal damage from a bad car accident back in December 2014.
I woke up in stiff in pain every day, I constantly had pain that never went away, I never stopped thinking about my back;
from the accident until a little after i moved to California in late August 15', and then i had access to straight CBDs and consistent THCs.
I've done a good amount treatments out there for my back in the last 5 years from acupuncture, electro therapy, FDA approved pill, etc...
From around September to this week;
i was not waking up in pain everyday.
i was not planning my activities around the pain.
i was not ALWAYS thinking about my back.
Because i am in a cannabis illegal state again...
This is the first time in a very long time i haven't had weed to smoke which again is upsetting but i can handle it, maybe not happily or the best but i can and have had to go without weed for a couple weeks before.
It affects my no appetite and depression but i can handle that.
What i didn't realize until this week was how incredible crucial CBDs with THCs have been for my physical state.
I forgot this pain.
This is the first time since, I've been waking up in pain again.
Stiff, burning, aching, pinching, combination...
I WENT TO THE GROCERY STORE TODAY in my 420 nurse tank,
(keep in mind, in an illegal state)
a couple approved nods, but mostly people who just frowned or didn't want to make eye-contact.
IF I HAD WORN MY JACK DANIELS SHIRT TO THE PUBLIC GROCERY STORE,
that would've been completely okay? i would not have gotten disapproval looks for the most part or parents trying to get their kids away from reading my shirt.
I PROMISE YOU that you can find at minimum, 1 person, someone who has loved someone who died because of alcohol, inside that grocery store.
You can search as hard as you would like but you probably will never find someone who has loved someone, who has OD'd from cannabis.
I WILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING FOR LEGAL CANNABIS
and
I WILL NEVER ALLOW SOMEONE TO MAKE ME FEEL INFERIOR BECAUSE I USE CANNABIS.
Cannabis has done something amazing for me that no doctor treatment has ever been able to do.
This medicine has done far greater things in this world than nothing on the FDA approved list has.
The pain i feel right now in my back, does nothing but fuel my fight harder for cannabis to be legal for everyone.
I am beyond grateful to the plant.
