Its been 5 years

On October 23rd 2010 my family received some horrendous news. That my 19 year old cousin was killed in Afghanistan. Wow I can't believe it's been 5 years already how fast the time goes. Today like we do every year on the 23rd we went to his flag in Rancho Cucamonga to honor and remember the life and death of Ronnie J Pallares. my cousin was such a great, selfless and giving person. His main goal while he was serving in the Army was to make sure that the dads who are serving were able to come home. He was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice just for them and their family. He had such a big smile on his face and wanted everyone to always smile and be happy... it's crazy that he's not here with us physically but I know he's always with us still spiritually. I want everyone to just be thankful for what you have and the people in your life because you never know when it or they are going to be taken away. Appreciate every day because you never know when it's going to be your last. Don't waste your life do what makes you happy and make something out of yourself. Some people give the ultimate sacrifice just so we can have that right, so let's not waste it and take the opportunity that were given to be the best that we can be... You are forever missed and deeply loved pumpkin. rest in paradise
