My First Time

Yesterday was my debut as a 420 Nurse.

Savage THC in Clayton, Washington was my first stop of the day. Savage was celebrating their one year anniversary and invited me to join them as a 420 Nurse. Here I am, just being Brittany, and I'm greeted with the warm welcome as my internet pseudonym, Grim Kardashian. Savage THC always offers the Cheers environment, sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name. Scott Dekay, the owner of the shop, plays nothing but vinyl in the shop and the vibes in the shop are amazing. The budtenders have their own specialties and tastes which offer a fun experience when you're looking to try something new. Although the shop is located about 30 minutes north of Spokane, the prices cannot be beat and the service is unmatched in its excellence. Scott has been involved in the Washington cannabis movement from the beginning and his heart and soul bleeds from the walls of Savage. The husband/wife team behind this establishment's success make everyone who comes into Savage THC feel like family. They're selection continues to grow and I'm so excited that I get to be a part of their journey. For anyone in the Spokane area, it's worth the trip; hit up Savage THC on your way to the lake for the dankness.

Another great milestone also happened yesterday, Locals Canna House in Spokane Valley held their official grand opening. I had the opportunity to see them transform their empty store into a beautiful budscape. The interior has the feel of an upscale spa filled with the aroma of sweet, sweet cannabis. A diverse selection of edibles, flower, and concentrates at great prices. Their staff was decked out in some really cool button-ups that they all rocked in their own individual style. The owners made sure to speak to everyone personally and the care that they put into their business shows both in its aesthetic as well as its staff. Their opening was paired with an after party at the Black Diamond next door. I was approached by some growers who had heard of me, thanks to all of the support of my friends, and got to talk a lot about 420 Nurses.

I have been back in Washington for about a year now and I have grown with the cannabis community. I am excited to be noticed and connected to such an amazing company. I have a few girls who are interested in joining me as 420 Nurses and I'm hoping to get more people just as excited as I am about being a part of something so great. I love being able to bridge the things that I love together and, although it's scary at times, creating a larger network for myself within the community that I love is one of the most exciting experiences of my life.

It's a slow ride at times and at other times it is lightening fast but the hard work, stress, and a smidge of self-doubt here and there, have all been worth the journey. I continue to be surprised in new and exciting ways each day and having a positive place to share these experiences is great.
