Have you been curious about what a 420 Nurses Intern is ?
What a 420 Nurses is to me:
There are a few catogories a 420 Nurses can fall under
Modeling
Photography
Advertising/Marketing
Activism/Blogging
But to sum it up we are Promotional Models trying to build our portfoilios and land modeling gig to further our carreers in the Cannabis Industy.
As a Chapter Leader, I have learned alot of work goes into getting yourself out there, The biggest thing we have to overcome is being comfortable in your own skin. Not only with being in front of the camera but approaching businesses to take a chance on us to help them promote their products and create more traffic and profits to their business.
I'm going to share my experience in each catagory I listed above
Modeling: As a Promo Model My first time on camera was with DabsMag.com at ChaCha Birthday Bash Febuary 2015, My first week as a 420 Nurse Intern. After that I got to be sponsored by Metro Vitality Delivery Service in the SFV. They hooked me up with some awesome business cards that I got to be the face of and you get a special gift when you turn it in to your delivery guy.
Photography: After a couple weeks of being a 420 Nurse Intern, I decided to buy myself a camera to learn how to take visually appealing photos, to help promote myself and chapter. I ended up starting a freelance promotional photography project called Stoners Only Images that is now run by my boyfriend Brandon Jefferson. Through this project I've linked up with CannaSmack, Luxe Glass Pipes, Dab Straws, Nectar Stick, and Elevated Medibles to help them bring more traffic to their business by taking product shots, shots of their products in action using the 420 Nurses Promotional Models, and videos and sharing them on multiple social networks.
Advertising/Marketing:
I've learned alot in this subject through being a 420 Nurse Intern.
this is pretty much the product placement part of the promo modeling experience. Learning how to casually adverise with out spamming can be a little hard with out sounding like an infomerical, when your promoting as yourself. Pepper in your favorite product in your everyday post. Got a new manicure, hold up a product, and add your affliates code at the end to offer your audience/fan base a discount. A short simple caption goes a long way.
Activism/Blogging: We also fight for our rights as MMJ Paitents by doing all we can, collecting signatures and spreading the information people need to hear about the thousands of helpful uses Cannabis can offer. We go to rallys, marches, and fundrasing events to show our love and support to help legalize an amazing plant, and keep people getting thrown in jail for a little pot in thier pocket. We speak our minds and the truth to help raise awareness. Blogging is a big part of being a promotional model!
It helps your fans get an idea of your personality and what you are trying to acomplish as a model. I treat my blog as a help book to help other girls become better promotional models. I feel that even though we are given all the tools we need to promote, we are offered pretty simple advice on how to go about being a promtional model. So I hope my blogs can help some girls out in there journeys as 420 Models, If i have please comment and tell me in which ways my advice has helped you out.
