I recently had the opportunity to trim some Sour Og and one of my favorite Sativa strains, Blue Dream.
Until now, I didn't experience trimming buds. I've always wanted to learn and a lot of my fellow 420 patients/bud tenders have before. There are so many green jobs and just different experiences to be apart of and so so much to learn about this medicinal Cannabis we love.
Learning what to do and get an efficient rhythm going was a piece of cake. For hours during the wee hours of the night I was trimming away. The process of cutting the bud off the stem, trimming it to a beautiful nug was sooo relaxing. Being that I smoke herb and bud tend, i'm aware of how a bud should look when i'm ready to smoke it. I enjoyed the fact that I was the one helping make this beautiful flower look delicious and aesthetic. I don't really know how else to explain it. It was a really cool experience seeing another side of how the nugs get to how they look when you pic it up in a shop. I was trimming with a few other 420 enthusiasts and it was awesome getting more knowledge on the growing process of the flower and when it's ready for trimming.
