I would consider this an extension of my last blog post. As I had mentioned before, there was an information packet that I had put together to convey the 420 Nurse message to potential sponsors, business partners, and potential employers. In order to sell yourself, you have to embed yourself with the brand. You're more than just a model, you are an ambassador to the movement. Giving the who, what, where, when, why and how of you and your brand can make or break a business relationship.
Included in the link are three letters:
Welcome to the community - This is a quick view of 420Nurses.com and what they can do for the business owner you speak to. Included are a few bullet points on what they can use the site for and lets them know the mission statement of 420Nurses.com. letting the business know about you and 420 Nurses will help both of you understand how to use each other to expand both 420Nurses.com and their own business.
Congratulations Business Add - This letter informs the business that you have added them the 420Nurses.com business directory and encourages them to check out the site as well as their new business page.
How to Advertise - This is just a copy past of the 'How to Advertise' section of 420Nurses.com. Don't just limit yourself to selling merch, sponsorship and advertising will help expand the brand exponentially and you can sell them through your affiliate link. Hello, monies!
I've included the link to my drive folder that includes these three documents, you can customize the links included as well as the signatures to make them personalized to you specifically. Although you can email the businesses, I found that going in person was much more successful. People really love seeing the 420 Nurse gear and it makes the business feel a little more special when you hand deliver them a welcome packet. Make sure to include your resume with the info packet and sell, sell, sell yourself and the brand.
Don't forget to follow up either by e-mail or in person so you can keep your face and the brand familiar in their minds. A little professional flair mixed with the sexy gear provided will make you a 5-star business woman ready to take on the world one pot shop at a time!
