Hello Everyone!! This is my very first blog of many to come!
Yesterday was the Pride Parade here, in New York City. I had the great pleasure in meeting and working with Lexileggo and Pete aka Brownie Green from WeedWorldCandies! It was an amazing experience and my first time promoting as one of the 420 nurses.
The night before the parade, I met Lexileggo and Brownie in Little Italy for a business dinner. I was nervous but felt at ease once Dabbqueen and I arrived. We had a lovely dinner and after three bottles of wine, we were all good friends!
Parade day started early. Traveling to the city, I hooked up with Lexileggo and Brownie in the WeedWorldCandies Van (which is really awesome btw). We drove around, near the parade to find a location to promote WeedWorldCandies, ourselves and the 420 Nurses! Lexileggo needed to stop at a bank and we just so happened to stop by one which ended up being the perfect location to promote and sell. With my no experience in the business, I set off and began to get people to head to the van, even if it was just to ask questions about the products.
The best part of the day is when Officer Kirk (very handsome at that) started lurking around and looking at us all suspiciously. He finally went up to Pete and asked what exactly we were doing and selling. Brownie immediately began to explain the products and what they contained, what they do exactly, and how it is legal. We were able to educate a NYC Police officer, have a good laugh about my Blunts, or lack of them on me, and take pictures!!
We sold out of lollipops just as the parade was wrapping up by us. All in all, I had an amazing experience, met some great people, and gained a lot of knowledge. I'm very appreciative of the experience and the chance to get my feet wet in the industry and learning to promote as a 420 Nurse.
Lexi and Brownie are in town for a while and have invited me and Dabbqueen to all the events they are attending this week. I can certainly say we are very lucky for this opportunity!!
