Let me start by saying no one should try to change for the liking of someone else's preference, and I believe every body is beautiful and unique. That being said, I was given the opportunity to try out waist training an dI couldn't be more excited.

Tightlacing (also called corset training) is the practice of wearing a tightly-laced corset. It is done to achieve cosmetic modifications to the figure and posture or to experience the sensation of bodily restriction. Due to actual, waistline-reducing, steel bone corsets no longer being as common as they used to be in the Victorian and Edwardian era modern day shapewear as well as fashionable lingerie such as "fajas" (rubber cinchers), bustiers and basques are purposefully marketed as "corsets."

Waist training involved wearing a corset that is designed to scale down and contour your midsection. Claiming to have the ability to slim a few inches off your waist, I decided to give it a try, and see how I feel. Given that exercise, makeup, wardrobe, body modification, & more all falls into the modeling category, I felt 420nurses.com would be the perfect place to share my experience. This weekend I got my first waist trainer and had it fitted in the store, this would be my first day wearing a waist trainer.

Day 1, I was only able to manage a few hours, 2-3 at most, in the waist trainer. Having it fitted to the 2nd hook, and put on during shopping, I kept on my waist trainer all the way home. I noticed the change in my posture right away. Having somewhat of a slouching problem , this is perfect for me. The corset almost forces you to sit up straight. I was ready to take on day 2.

I have seen some concerns regarding chafing, shortness of breath, harm to internal organs, fractured ribs, false advertisement, etc. Knowing this can be a tool that has even worked for many celebrities (Kim K, Dita Von Tease, Amber Rose,) I am here in hopes to shed those concerns and successfully carry out a healthy form of waist training.

I found that day 2 was alot easier adjusting to my waist trainer. Day 2 I spent in the office, at my desk making calls and what not. The waist trainer fits so perfectly under my 420nurse tank tops you almost cant tell I'm wearing it. I did notice however, I am not able to eat as big of meals with it on. It is definitely not something I want to wear to my favorite restaurant. I love to eat, and I heard tight corsets can give you heartburn if you eat too much, or even drink something with alot of carbonation. I am taking it all in as a learning experience. I was able to last about 6 hours with it on day 2 and I love the difference in my posture it is making. To be honest, I expected to see at least some change when i took it off the second day, but I had to remember everything takes time.

These were the lines on my stomach after taking off the trainer from day 2.

I am now on day 3 and I feel as If I can last a little longer, and it feels alot more natural with each day that comes. One day soon I might be able to tighten a hook. I have even seen users online talk about sleeping and exercising in their waist trainers. I am looking forward to working on different alternatives and receiving the best results I can.

We have to remember our bodies are working to create a slimmer figure so we have to work with it. I will be posting my progress and experience through my blogs, and will definitely have more experienced details to share next time. If anyone has any tips/tools and experience waist training I would love to collaborate ideas and thoughts, and If anyone has any questions, I would love to help, feel free to comment below or send me a direct message. Thank you for reading.
