Expanding the Orange County Chapter

Today I went to my usual dispensary, Airside wellness in Van Nuys. I talked to budtender there about 420Nurses and what we're all about. She was very inerested too learn more, I gave her my card and continued to tell her about our movement and how to get involved with a local chapter. I asked her to join the network for free to get a feel for what we do if she would ever like to pursue an internship in the future. I've never just approached another girl before about 420Nurses.com, I usually just wait for a girl to come up to me on how to become a 420Nurse. Just reaching out to anybody out there who use cannabis on a daily basis is a great way to expand and spread information on our movement. Even if they dont end up joining you still reached out and gave them tht information that might change their perspective on the cannabis community. I feel that this approach is best for spreading our message. If you go out and try this out and your not very sucessful with it, dont worry what we do isnt everyones cup of tea, but once in a while you will get a girl who has been looking for something like this to start their journey into the cannabis community/indusrty.
little tips on approaching new girls:
1. Dont be shy ! They're everyday people, just like you and me Just relax and breath
2. Always bring you recruiting tools (cards, stickers, etc.)
3. Be yourself ! Nothing is more of a turn off when you sound like a scripted telemarketer.
4. Be sure to ask them plenty of questions about what they would like to come from becoming an Intern
5. Stay in touch ! Make sure to get some kind of contact information, phone number, email, social media, Keep them updated on upcoming events and meetings.
6. Smile! Nothing is more inviting than a great postive additude!
These tips helped me out and I hope they can help you girls out too when it comes time to talk to new girls about our movement.
