So I've been noticing the more I get into the Cannabis Community the more I see that there are other Pitbull owners . This would normally make me very happy, BUT, I've also noticed that the reason I like pits VS the reason some others (and I DO NOT say all because I know a lot of stoners who are avid dog rescuers)like this breed are completely different.
At HIGHTIMES CANNABIS CUP I actually discussed this with a guy I saw that had the most beautiful pit I've ever seen. Granted this pit had probably been through hard times, it had a scared face and cut ears .... but this person who is also against cut ears had rescued this dog from people who would of used him as a fighting dog.
WELL back to what I was originally going to blog about is I think it should be made more known the side effects that come with cutting a dogs ears/tail. I don't believe it should be something offered by breeders out of the simple fact that it starts aggression towards humans early. AGAIN this isn't always certain in some dogs but for the most part of what I have experienced dogs with cut ears are more aggressive towards people. They are also more likely to end up loosing their hearing. And if you are going for a family dog having a pet that always looks like it will hurt you isn't such a good idea.
I understand that not everyone feels the same way I do. I'm not trying to force anyone to think the way I do all I ask is that you look at it logically. Why should this animal protect you and your family when you cant protect it from pain like that at a time when it cannot defend itself? why should it defend you when you want it mutilated ?

Im saying you don't see people complaining about the crops on dobies, Danes and the other breeds. Pits are the only ones people suddenly feel look sooooo agressive just because they get cropped ears.
