Life molds you

About three years ago I was in a bad head-on collision.I was flown to Phoenix for emergency treating. I arrived to the hospital unconscious unaware of what had happen. I woke up what seemed like a week later in another city freaked out not knowing where I was or what had happen...I was sore, hurting, and weak. I had to have plastic surgery due to a slash I got on the side on my cheek connecting to my lip which made it hard to speak. I had a terrible headache due to the cause that I had blood leaking into my brain. I was scared, I knew I scarred for life. I was put on some morphine, hydrocodone, and oxycodone. Few days later I was sent home inwas so doped up on prescription drugs. I was depressed that my face would never be the same, I was cup up and bruised pretty badly. Days went by and my pain didn't any better. My bother saw the pain and depression in my eyes and offered me a bowl of some banana Kush with some keef. I smoked the bowl knowing it could cause infection in my wound. Instantly the pain was taken away. Weeks went by and I kept smoking weed, my wound healed dramatically fast I was able to take the stitches out sooner than imagined. My surgeon was amazed at how great it healed. It had been two months. My depression was starting to go away and I was finally ready to go back to school. The self centered little girl I once was, was gone. I had realized that what had happen to me was a miracle. I was given a second change and shown that this medicine really does work. I was given a second chance to help those in need. And that's what I'm here to do.
