Kansas Marijuana

Any people here from Kansas? I'm was born and raised in Wichita. I'm curious about people's opinion on the laws here. I've read a few articles but I don't see any major change coming our way yet. Kansas has always been pretty strict on the laws.. Minuscule amounts such as a gram can get you up to a year in jail if you get the wrong judge. People are becoming more aware of the medical uses, there is even a fellow in Salina that takes a van to Denver every weekend. He charges people, his target clients being 50+ people who think they might benefit from the uses of medical marijuana.
I'd love to hear some input!
