Medical Cannabis Saved my life.

I was born with Congenital Heart Disease and in my lifetime have had 2 open heart surgeries (another in 3 years time) and 12 other minor surgeries. At one point my Doctors had me on so many prescription medications, that I literally lost sight of who I was, and it almost ruined my life. I was at the very end, and being a Cannabis Smoker since I was young I knew how helpful it was. After I was taken in to be detoxed off massive amounts of opiates and other horrible medications, I wanted, I need a fresh start.
Still very sick from withdrawal, I set up a Medical Marijuana Program with my Doctor, and now it's been 3 years that I am completely opiate free. I rely completely on Cannabis to medicate several issues such as pain, anxiety, nausea, and muscle spasms.
Cannabis gave me my life back, and ever since i have wanted noting more than to share my story and let others know that there is another way, there is hope.
Regardless of living in one of the privileged two legal states, I will never stop fighting for legalization until it spreads worldwide. Everyone deserves the right to safe, quality access.
