Volunteers needed for an alternative health fair expo taking place this summer Sunday July 1st, 2012.
taking place at the Ukrainian Culture Center, 4315 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029
An all day FREE event geared to promote cannabis health and legal awareness to the urban community. The event will have free educational workshops with executives from with various industries speaking on topics such as:
Alternative medicines: Cannabis, Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Organic solutions
Legal: Sate vs Federal - Know your rights
Cannabis in America: Past & Present
Methods of ingestion
Intro to growing cannabis
Economics
In addition to the free workshops, free health care screenings for AIDS, Hypertensions, and Diabetes will be provided for the community.
Volunteers needed for the following:
Day of event production needs
flyer distribution
social networking promotions
retail flyer drop offs
war on drug speakers
etc.
