It it just me or did you watch ANTM and mimic Tyra and all the Models? I think watching every season of America's Next Top Model truly ended up helping my modeling career lol
I was recently shooting at 420 Nurses Headquarters with Cha Cha and she gave me really good feed back. I had realized.. ANTM tips really stuck with me! AWESOME!!
Growing up, I watched every season/ episode of ANTM. I would put on heels, whether they were my moms or as I got older, mine, and walk my own run way in the house. During an episode I would even mimic the models poses and practice in the mirror. Tyra Banks gave the ultimate "Smize" tips. That woman knows how to smile and seduce with her eyes. She was my ultimate idol!
Now that i'm pre suing modeling more proactively, doing more shoots, i've noticed I kept those tips in my pocket. I stopped keeping up with the show after awhile, however, I still follow Tyra on social media and always find tips for facial expressions and body positions.
Practicing in the mirror for me is key! When i'm at a photo shoot, i don't know how my face/body looks until after. Watching the ANTM models for so many years definitely gave me more ideas on what to do with myself in a photo.
I feel I definitely need to practice more and work on what accents my body and features. My facial expressions as well. Sometimes I focus more on my body and not how I want to pro trey an emotion on my face.
Modeling aside with 420 Nurses yesterday at the beach was truly extremely helpful and fun!! Photo shoots alone can be scary. These ladies not only give you confidence and encouragement, but they give you so many tips on what to do to improve the outcome of the photo! If you're modeling with another model, help her out. Give her positive feedback! Whether your more experienced than the other or not, everyone can use tip or idea in a shoot
Even if someones got a strain of hair in their face or wardrobe malfunction, maybe get in there and help your girl out! Were all in this together ladies!!
