COme hang out with the 420nurses @ HIGHFI 2015
In 2013, within a matter of months, my step mom and sister in law were diagnosed with cancer. Not only was this a wake up call, but we were devastated and wanted to do more. My sister in law shared with us how eating edibles helped her sleep at night during her brutal chemotherapy treatments. This helped form the idea of putting the HighFi event together, and donating portions of the proceeds to cancer charities. I want to positively promote medicinal marijuana and the numerous benefits. It goes without saying, I’m a huge supporter and hope for legalization soon.
Many of us have been affected by cancer, either through our family or friends. Fortunately for cancer patients, medical marijuana may be an effective cancer treatment and an alternative to numerous drugs currently used to treat cancers including brain cancer, prostate cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, and more. Medical marijuana can also help to alleviate symptoms associated with traditional cancer treatment, including nausea and vomiting. We are here to promote and raise awareness of the benefits of medical marijuana both physical and psychological.
2015 High-Fi event we plan on educating on how medical marijuana helps with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). After a trauma or life-threatening event, it is common to have reactions such as upsetting memories of the event, increased jumpiness, or trouble sleeping. If these reactions do not go away or if they get worse, you may have Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Again this hit’s close to home, having an uncle who is a helicopter pilot in the army he uses medicinal marijuana to help with his PTSD. Many of his friends who are also in the military use cannabis to help with symptoms as well.

As a person who personally struggles with PTSD this even Is a must Go for me becauses it hits so close to home<3 It makes me want to cry To see the support<3
