Why I should be the cover Girl
Hello beautiful friends! I'm Jen Marie, also known as proudmom_msfighter. I'm 420 Nurses Intern in Reddin Ca, as well as VP of the Norcal chapter. Being apart of the 420nurses has giving me the platform to really educate myself, as well as others on the use of medical marijuana.
When I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, I felt like my life was over. I spent the first part of my adulthood taking care of my mother who also has MS. Watching her go paralyzed and having to learn to talk, walk, even feed herself was heartbreaking. She was givin every medication there was for her MS, but it seemed to just make her worse. That was a big part of why I choose to use cannabis instead of the medication.
Medical marijuana has helped me with the depression, anxiety and the symptoms from my chronic illness. It may not cure my illness, but it sure does make help the symptoms.
Being the next Cover girl for it's a lifestyle Magazine would be absolutely amazing!! There's still too much negative surrounding Medical marijuana, but I am living proof that cannabis is a much better alternative then the proscribed drugs the doctors like to hand out. Most meds for MS have a 60% to 80% chance that could make you go paralyzed. Cannabis 0%.
Please help me stop the stigma surrounding medical marijuana by voting for me too be the next cover girl!
