Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start my blog off with something that's been relevant to me lately; studying! I'm currently taking a Latin American history course and it's a class I've taken before but with today's world--I thought I should refresh. So, in my pursuit of refreshing knowledge I take certain steps to prepare for studying. I feel most comfortable knowing I've taken these steps to begin and hopefully you can apply them to your routine.

Step one: Smoke. Take a dab or whatever you prefer. I don't recomend edibles since a lot of times they're unpredictable (unless you're a frequent user) and next thing you know you're zZzZzZ....

Step Two: Make sure you can eat. Have a snack or late dinner. I like to make a cheese plate or charcuterie board. If you're vegan a fruit and nut arrangement is yummy too! Don't forget water to drink after eating and for while you study. I don't recommend energy drinks because I personally get too much going on to where I loose focus. Lemon water is the best.

Step Three: Gather materials--notebook, pen, laptop, tablet, texts, etc.

Step Four: Make sure you're studying the correct materials (check your syllabus) and start to go over whatever concepts are the most difficult to the brief review concepts. Try to take it bit by bit and if your book doesn't describe it well enough you can always check resources on google but try to use reputable sources like .edu or .gov or google scholar.

Step 5: Don't stop studying for at least 45 minutes so that you give your mind enough time to absorb without overloading it.

If you continuously study this way you eventually build up a rotation of repetion and you will review all you need to know and more. Happy studying!
