So I found out that i might be getting a service dog and I really hope everything works out because i think this can change my life and give me a higher quality of life. I suffer from PTSD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder and lately I have been looking into the benefits of a service dog for those issues, What i have read so far I think this might be the solution to my problems i have always been looking for. I Have really bad anxiety almost to the point sometimes where i cant even move let alone talk so it can make it very difficult for me to get help in that situation. I read that they do training with service animals that the animal could sense me getting a panic attack before i even get one and help me accordingly. As well as for flashbacks and one thing i am really bad about is remembering to take my medications. They can train service dogs to get your medications or remind you when to take them. I also have really bad social anxiety and sometimes i overthink so much and it makes it really hard to talk to people if anyones ever met me at sesh they can verify; Im awkard as shit. I think having a service dog would help me alot cus honestly part of it for me is just being alone when i have anxiety or my other issues and i feel like i have no one to turn to. If i had a service animal it would just help me feel alot less stressed and anxious and just give me a sense of comfort all around. Ive been looking into a few different places for my service dog the only downside is service animals are expensive af. It can cost anywhere from 10,000-almost 40,000 and i am not sure where i can come up with that kind of money. Many of the places that i have been looking into offer fundraising to help clients which would be awesome but it could take me a really long time to even get one because I would have to be put on a waitlist. The website said it could take anywhere from a year and a half to 3 years to get a service dog if i decide to go that route. Im half debating to train my current dogs to be able to perform certain tasks but it just does not seem realistic one because i have a pittbull and those arent very widely accepted and 2 my other dog is a chihuahua and idk if he is even big enough to be a service dog is there a height requirement...idk. Should probably find out tho. TO BE CONTINUED

do a go fund me, and australian shepards are great animals and depending on the age of your animals , you may be able to train them, but yes, they can sense you and a great idea. you then can visit kids in hospitals, like i did with my dog. feel better glad ur surgery went well.
