Good morning, cannabis world. How is everyone? I'm still a new user on here (was just verified a couple days ago) so please bare with me. Today, I was prescribed 2 new medications for my anxiety/depression. All I know is that I took it and when I woke up from my nap I felt like I had been hit by a train #tired But I talked to my doctor yesterday and I explained marijuana is the only thing that can calm me down when I have my freak outs. Well, we talked and she explained that when on a medication for mental health, weed can have the opposite effect you want (which I have noticed). So we decided to really give my new meds a chance, which means no smoking for at least a month. When I got home, not gonna lie, I cried a lot. I know that seems like a stupid thing to be so upset about but weed is a HUGE part of my life; i've wanted to me a marijuana model for a long time, (that's what I created my Instagram account for)) and then I discovered #420Nurses and it felt like a sign because it was literally an opportunity for my dream job right in front of me. So to be told that could be taken away from me just because I have to switch out for pills made me feel horrible. I really want to give this new medication a try but it just feels really unfair. Plus, it gives my mom even more of a reason to bitch me out, thinking weed is not good for me. (She just came in my room as I write this to nag that my room smells like smoke, only rubbing in the fact that I haven't been able to smoke ALL DAY.) Does anybody have any advice? Also, would a Sativa strain work better? (I only know Indica)
I also need more things to fill my day so I won't be tempted to smoke but it's hard when there aren't many places to walk and I don't have a car. If anybody has any advice or encouragement, please feel free to leave it below <3

Hi love, I would recommend looking at other strains of maybe a sativa or hybrid. Strains work differently to help in many ways, its possible the strain you tried just wasn't the right one for you. Remember that it is always important to do what makes you happiest and healthiest, even when you have p... View More
