Green Miles 5K Experience a sporting event?
The Green Miles 5K Experience is entertaining walk for a good cause. It is not a sporting event. This first ever 3.1 mile party in motion is a celebration, and not a timed competition.
This event will be free for patients, and we are promoting this event as far as Nevada, Arizona, Washington and Colorado. We plan to smoke out Southern California, while celebrating and bringing awareness!
With cannabis law reform such a hot topic in the news this is a fantastic opportunity to have fun with friends, and take part in first of its kind event supporting medical cannabis. Here are a few common questions about the event.

The Green Miles 5k™ is a unique canna-awareness, celebration. We're not walkin' , we're rockin'! Along the course, participants will dance,*medicate, enjoy street performers, games, and giveawys. Our event is a celebration of compassion, equality, and wellness. We’re rockin' to ratify the laws that say, “It’s ok to medicate!" In addition to music, treats, and memorable moments, this one- of- a- kind event will feature, teach-ins and meducation opportunities.
THE LAYOUT
18 AND OVER AGE RESTRICTION
2:15 PM – The Green Gates Open
Attendees check in and survey all of the wonderful exhibitors in MariJuanderland as they mingle and vibe!
4:20 PM – The Green Miles 5K Experience Begins
Mile One: FLOWER POWER
Grooving along to the best of the 70’s and Old School Funk, participants will encounter a new age FLOWER POWER experience, symbolic of all things freedom, love, and peace!
Mile Two: SINSEMILLA WAY
Whine ya waist, and sway your hips to the hot sounds of the Caribbean, as you move through the ALL GREEN EVERYTHING mile of our event. As you move along to Reggae, Salsa, and Dancehall, let go and get caught up in the 420 energy of your surroundings. Laugh, dance, and be GREEN!
Mile Three: MILE HIGH!
You're feeling good, now! Vibe to the sounds of Hip Hop, Dub Step & Pop, as you move through a smoky green haze. At the finish line, you can join others as we paint and stamp our feet on THE GREEN MILES MURAL, to illustrate the steps being taken in the right direction to support Medical Cannabis!

How will the Green Miles 5K Experience educate?
This interactive event will feature two hours dedicated to fun, family oriented education and involvement, as well as two hours dedicated to a comprehensive celebrity teach-in.
What can the scheduled speakers teach me that I do not already know?
In addition to providing facts and figures, the various teachers, entertainers, and celebrity speakers will share stories which highlight and demonstrate ways in which Medical Marijuana has improved the quality of life for long suffering patients, in desperate need of relief. Speakers will share organizing techniques which empower Medical Marijuana advocates. They will also help you to better understand and protect your rights.
Is it legal for participants to medicate on the premises?
Green Miles 5K Experience organizers have designed this event to be in compliance with CA prop215 and SB420. Smoking, vaping, dabbing are approved activities while on the venue premises. Thus, people can medicate in designated areas, including throughout Marijuanderland & along the 5K course.

Will the Green Miles 5K Experience be an event that encourages drug use?
Medical Marijuana, which may be ingested in various forms, has been proven to safely bring relief to chronically ill patients. Medical Marijuana is a drug similar to other common prescription drugs including pain relievers, anti anxiety drugs, anti depressants, and antineoplastics. Our goal is not to encourage drug use, but to make this alternative medication available to patients in need.
Will the Green Miles 5K Experiencedamage the reputation of our city, county and state?
The Green Miles 5K Experience organizers constantly communicate with public officials and have the support of numerous elected officials. Thoughtful planning and preparation by festival organizers ensures that this event will help to improve the image of, and generate revenue for our geo governmental bodies.
Does allowing people to Medicate during the Green Miles 5K Experience violate the law?
CanI?Liv, the organizers of the Green Miles 5K Experience, have been careful to make certain there are no laws, rules or regulations broken during this fun, law abiding event.
Are people who Medicate during the Green Miles 5K Experience required to have or purchase a Medical Card?
Yes. There will be Doctors on site to issue recommendations for qualified patients.
How will you prevent underage smoking at the Green Miles 5K Experience?
To ensure compliance with existing laws, highly trained event management officials, stationed at the admission gate, shall request that those persons who appear to be underage provide proof of age.
Will there be adequate staff to helpGreen Miles 5K Experience participants in need of direction or assistance?
There will be an ample number of course monitors and facilitators strategically placed throughout the Green Miles 5K Experience course and facilities. In addition to answering all questions, and providing any needed assistance or advice, those staff members shall make certain the event is a safe and orderly.
Are donations to the CanI?Liv - Green Miles 5K Experience tax deductible?
Due to the nature of our industry, our advocate position and our corporate status, donations are not tax deductible.
Is the Green Miles 5K Experience Handicapped Accessible?
The total venue including the entire 5k walking route is Handicapped Accessible and ADA compliant.
Is the Green Miles 5K Experience a safe environment?
The venue is completely fenced in and all entrances and exits are secured by professional security personnel. Weapons will not be allowed on the premises. All persons entering will be visually screened. The organizers are careful to acquire all necessary permits, as well as-comply with all laws, rules, and regulations.
Is there adequate parking on or near the National Orange Show Events Center?
There is ample onsite parking available, for a minimal fee.
