We are currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Inventory Representative who will advance the institution's proud tradition of excellence in community service.

Your mission: We'll count on you to be organized and detail oriented.

Your work: You will assist to maintain accurate records and capital inventory. We will count on you to establish and assist with inventory dispositions, discrepancy investigations, and generate appropriate reporting to maintain accurate inventory records. In addition you will track property from receipt to disposition, loading, unloading and driving to ensure pick-ups and/or deliveries to colleges as requested/needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Complete daily operational activities in compliance ,physical inventory, receiving, shipping, billing, delivery and customer services;
2. Manage storage area, identify and verify the location of items, record electronic data entries, and maintain accurate inventory with detailed information as required;
3. Assist management of temporary storage, receive inventory

4. Assist to maintain warehouse clean and organized to ensure staff and visitor safety;

5. Identify and follow safe handling and storage procedures for all items, including those within department;

6. Assist with all warehouse inventories, verify counts on all vendor receipts; in compliance with 420nurses policies and procedures;
Facilitate visitations and walkthroughs during searches of surplus items; and

7.Prepare basic reports, complete necessary forms, and maintain inventory and capital equipment related files and records as requested, and perform data entry into the system.

8. Lifting boxes 1-20 lbs

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE

Two (2) years of experience in inventory accountability, records and controls; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Familiarity with centralized receiving practices; general knowledge of logistics;
Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with individuals from diverse backgrounds;
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within a team environment (i.e., cooperating with co-workers, joint problem solving, etc.);
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
Strong organizational and administrative skills and effective interpersonal skills;
Knowledge of computer technology to facilitate compiling data, generating reports and communicating with others;
Knowledge of receiving and storage techniques;
Skilled in preparing and maintaining computerized inventory;
Skilled in operating motorized equipment within a warehouse environment according to safety requirements, and operating delivery vehicles, and proper storage according to safety requirements;
Must be reliable in attendance and keeping an assigned work schedule;
Must be able to exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force constantly to move objects; and

Must be in good physical health and be able to lift, haul, pull, reach, carry, grasp, squat or stoop, bend and twist the body while performing essential duties with no difficulties; work outside if necessary for assignments as requested.
