So I've been kind of having a really terrible week, and everything has been going wrong or blowing up in my face. I've been trying to stay positive, but self esteem issues and just the general concerns of the situation have been a little overwhelming. Now before you guys think I'm bad vibes, let me tell you about yesterday:
I traveled to Canoga Park, which was a whole new adventure (I just moved out here last October), and went to the 420Nurse Headquarters. There I met Summer Rain, Cha Cha, Lexi, Beya, and Tamisha, who made me feel nothing but very very welcome. Especially in LA there seems to be a shortage of women being nice to each other, I see judgement more than anything so just to have this group of beautiful, smart, driven and friendly women welcome me into their chapter was something that made my whole week.
During the photo shoot I was pretty nervous, but the lovely ladies unknowingly helped boost my confidence and I've been in a lovely mood ever since. It feels really nice to belong to something out here, and the fact that I get to work with something I love with some of the most beautiful and nicest women you'll ever meet just puts the icing on a very awesome cake.
